This policy describes this website and the current iPC beta apps for iPhone, Mac and Windows, plus the Chrome extension.
What iPC Uses
You choose the files, photos, links and copied text to share, your paired devices and sync categories. iPC uses your Google account identity, email and limited device, pairing and delivery information to connect your devices and send notifications. Authentication credentials and pairing secrets use the platform’s protected storage. Google Drive access is limited to iPC’s app-data area, not your ordinary Drive files.
Transfers And Storage
Local transfers use an authenticated, encrypted connection. Current paired cloud transfers encrypt file and link contents before storing them in your own Google Drive app-data area. Google Drive storage limits and internet access apply. Delivery services also process technical metadata such as device identifiers, notification tokens, timestamps and normal request information. Notifications do not contain your files, shared URLs or copied text.
AirText
AirText reads and writes copied text on your paired local network. This may include sensitive information, so enable it only for devices you trust. Windows saves protected local AirText history until you clear it or older entries are removed. Automatic iPhone and Mac AirText history is held in memory; explicitly shared text can remain in local pending storage. Automatic clipboard access on iPhone requires iPC in the foreground and iOS permission. Your operating system’s clipboard-history settings also apply.
History And Previews
Filenames, transfer receipts, link history, thumbnails, caches and troubleshooting logs can remain on your devices until cleared or removed. Clearing history does not delete originals or files already saved to Photos, Files or your computer. Cloud cleanup follows confirmed delivery when it can complete; pending copies may remain. Link previews contact linked websites and preview providers, which can receive the requested URL and your IP address. Review logs before sharing them with support. Automatic Crashlytics collection is disabled in the current iPhone beta.
Website And Services
Adobe Portfolio hosts this website and processes normal web requests. If you use the support form, the email and message you provide are processed through Adobe’s form service and delivered to our support inbox. Google, Apple, Adobe, preview providers and linked download/store services have their own privacy practices. iPC does not sell user data or use it for advertising or cross-app advertising tracking.
Your Choices
You can disable sync, unpair, sign out and clear local history. Revoking iPC’s Google access stops future authorized access; it does not automatically delete destination files or every existing cloud copy. Contact us about developer-held operational data.
Beta And Purchases
The current beta has purchase prompts and transfer-count limits disabled. A separate public App Store version may have a download price. Apple processes App Store payments. When purchase features are active, access checks use account, purchase and send-count information—not file contents, shared URLs or AirText text.
Google Limited Use
iPC’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google user data is used to provide and maintain iPC, not for advertising.
